Carry Opteon™ P/T Charts in the Palm of Your Hand
Chemours has taken the traditional paper pressure temperature (P/T) chart used for years and adapted it for today's technology. The Pressure Temperature Calculator mobile app provides technicians with handy and accurate Opteon™ refrigerant data on the go in both English and Metric units.
It includes calculations for all major refrigerant products, including Opteon™ hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerants, as well as Freon™ hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) and hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) refrigerants. Data available for each refrigerant includes:
- Composition
- Physical, chemical, and environmental properties
- Temperature glide
- Typical use applications
- Lubricant recommendations
On-the-Go Functionality
The P/T app displays a pressure or temperature based on the information a user inputs. For refrigerant blends, both the saturated vapor and liquid values are provided.
The app uses input from the field service contractor to quickly calculate an operating system's superheat and sub-cooling, and to facilitate quick, accurate refrigeration or AC system charging, start-up, and trouble shooting.
